Start the Screensaver by creating desktop icons on Windows Vista

If you want to force your screen saver to start, you can create a shortcut icon in your desktop to do the job.To do this,

1. Right click on desktop.

2. Choose New –> Shortcut.

3. Enter the full path shown below to the file.

C://windows/system32/name.scr /s

4. You have to substitute the name of the screensaver in behalf of “name.scr” above.

5. If you dont know the name of the screen savers then search for “.scr” using the search box.

6. Now your Icons are created.
